Congratulations!
To reconceptualize yoga asana as a way of approaching movement (rather than just a yoga ‘on-the-mat’ practice)
What “proper posture” ACTUALLY is and how it serves you
How simple breathwork can impact digestion (among other bodily systems) and increase health (no fancy tools or techniques necessary!)
How to face yourself and your habits with curious exploration (rather than shame and judgement)
What a Yoga Beat is...
... and how you are already doing yoga all of the time!
That's a good question, and we have a good answer! We have a short mini-course that goes into what an almanac is, the diverse ways it can serve your life, and the principles of maintaining such a practice. Please do check it out! (Scroll down a bit and you will find a link!)
This course is designed for people who feel they don't have the time, space, or understanding to sustain a yoga practice. This course is for people who don't feel that yoga is for them. This course is for people who struggle with their mental health and need an intervention that helps them come back into their body after highly-anxious periods or low-depressive ones. This course is for people who aren't comfortable doing yoga in front of a crowd. Ultimately, this course is for anyone who wants to do yoga on their own terms.
This course is NOT designed for people who have perfected their yoga practice. It is NOT for people who can maintain their asana practice and need no guidance. This is NOT for people who want to primarily utilize yoga as a form of exercise.
Please visit us on Instagram where we model the almanac way, post for accountability, reels of course content, quotes, and so much more!
Have unlearned a lifelong process of body alienation
Be fluent in a new language: sensation! and have more acuity of what your body is communicating to you and how you can respond to intercept pain patterns!
Understand the foundation of pranayama and be curious about just what one or two refined techniques could do for you.
Have created a lively and rewarding relationship with yourself.
Adopt the almanac way as a life practice.
